People around him call him a soccer maniac due to his love for soccer. Because of his positive personality, he attracts people, even if they're enemy or ally. It was because of this that he was able to gather new members. His teammates benefit from his mental strength and encouragement. They also respect him despite his carefree attitude. Even up to now, he and his father still argue about the subject and soon his father became a doctor. During the FFI arc, he was forced by his father to study in Germany as a doctor before the preliminaries. He makes a compromise with his father to go to Germany after the preliminary round. After the , his father doesn't make his leave anymore. He keeps an amulet made by his sister, and makes a promise with her to stop playing soccer, but when he realizes that his passion for the game is strong, he changes that promise to become the champion of the Soccer Frontier. He and his family were going home from a when an avalanche decided to strike but he was saved from the incident since he got pushed out of the car before the avalanche could hit him but his family had no luck. They were still inside, leaving his brother Atsuya (Aidan) and his parents to die in the avalanche. Ever since then, he was possessed by his twin brother's spirit whenever he is in offense mode. He wanted to become perfect and believed that he could only do so if he became his brother (his father's comments right before the avalanche accident led him to believe this). With Gouenji and the others' help, he realized that what his father meant was that he could be perfect only if he played with his teammates. Soon, he broke free from both his trauma and his twin brother's spirit and personality, merging himself and his brother's spirit as one thus growing stronger as well. His techniques include Eternal Blizzard, Wolf Legend, Ice Ground, and Snow Angel. - Ichirōta Kazemaru (風丸 一郎太?) (Nathan Swift) (Defender, Midfielder) - The fastest player on the team has brown eyes and blue hair held back by a ponytail. He also acts as the team's side captain outside the game. Originally a member of the track club team, Kazemaru is convinced by Endou of becoming player of the soccer team, because the team needed 4 more players for their match against Teikoku; if Endou could not get them the soccer club would be closed. Kazemaru is finally convinced by the promise of fighting a lot of stronger players, altogether with Endou fighting spirit. He left the team on episode 45 and joined the Dark Emperors but went back to the Inazuma Eleven in the end. In episode 94-95 he is put as captain, this is when Endou can't make it to the match when Endou, Kidou, Sakuma and Fudou were helping the Italian team with a problem caused by Kageyama, until he twisted his leg and gave the captain band to Hiroto. Later, he accepts Gouenji and acquires new techniques, like the Dragon Crash, Wyvern Crash and the Dragon Slayer, and combining with Gouenji to form Dragon Tornado. He initially had trouble accepting Fubuki as he strongly felt that Gouenji shouldn't be replaced and the ace-striker seat was rightfully Gouenji's. However, he later overcame it, with Endou's help, with the belief that they were strengthening the team so that when Gouenji came back, the team would be good enough for him. He has a combination hissatsu technique with Fubuki -- Wyvern Blizzard. He broke his ankle after learning the move and while he was recovering, he joined the Dark Emperors at the end of season two. However, because of an accident in his childhood, he moved away for medical treatment, leaving Aki and Domon to think that he died. Through rehabilitation treatment, and his love for soccer, he went to Japan to visit Aki and became a member of Endou's team. Aki describes Ichinose similar to Endou. Together with Endou and Domon, he tries to recreate the Tri-Pegasus, and it evolves to The Phoenix. Later though, in the FFI arc, he and Domon leave, hoping to play against Endou. During the FFI arc Endou, Aki and Domon find out that the injuries from his accident still hadn't healed and that he required another medical surgery and he won't be able to play soccer again if he pushes too far. Though Ichinose was able to play Endou when Inazuma Japan played against American team The Unicorn he and Domon were on but was pulled off when he fell over due to his injury and the team lost. But when he saw his teammates fall one after another, he ran off, abandoning the match. Ever since he's almost always on the bench, Megane has a habit of calling catchy names for his teammates techniques, example he was the one who called Someoka's first technique Dragon Crash. He also made a move name Megane Crash. He later becomes a Manager and it's revealed he wears girls underwear. He has a younger, sportier twin brother named Kazuto who, while better at sports than him, is very emotional. He is voiced by Nanae Katō.

In the Aliea Academy arc he gave his position to Coach Hitomiko thinking that she would be a suitable coach for the Inazuma Caravan but later revealed her to be working with Aliea Academy the entire time but learned she was only being used by her father to lure the team into fighting The Genesis. He went back to being the coach in the end and an assistant coach in the FFI arc. It's also revealed he is also the goalkeeper of the original Inazuma Eleven. Nearly everyone except for some people like Endou don't trust her at first especially when she taken Goenji off the team but it was actually to protect him and his sister. When Kageyama appeared in Ehime creating Shin Teikoku Academy, Coach Hitomiko asked him if he knew anything about Aliea Academy only for it to be an unanswerable question. In Fukuoka after the Inazuma Caravan first met Hiroto's (as Gran) team The Genesis, she told the truth about Fubuki to everyone and how he had two personalities inside of him. Before the final match she was found out to be Hiroto's older sister but really wasn't in the end. Coach Hitomiko was told by her father that she was only being used to make the strongest team in Japan to be a suitable opponent for The Genesis. She was the one who first tried to convince about his wrong doings when he first found the Aliea Meteorite and that he made the Sun Garden Orphanage for her to be happy after her real younger brother died. In the final match she said to her father that it was Endou and the team that made her find her true self and gave back the position of coach to Coach Hibiki. In the FFI arc she became the coach of Neo Japan, a team lead by Saginuma (Desarm- who was desperate about going into the Football Frontier Internationals after not being picked as a candidate for Inazuma Japan) that was supposed to replace Inazuma Japan but they lost instead. After experiencing Endou's passion for soccer, Aphrodi no longer drinks "Aqua of the Gods" anymore. Later, he joins the Raimon Eleven in the match against Diamond Dust. He then fought against the combination team Chaos, which consists of Prominence and Diamond Dust members. While it seems that she has feelings toward Endou, she clearly states that their relationship is platonic (Many people misinterpret this and believe that she has a romantic interest toward Endou). Also, Rika tends to hint something about her liking Tsunami. She leaves the team after they defeat Aliea Academy, but returns to support them during their practice sessions during the FFI preliminaries. She is voiced byAyahi Takagaki.
- Yūya Kogure (小暮 裕也?) (Scotty Vanian) (Defender) - Kogure is a small character with a prankster attitude. He later learns an ultimate technique from Endou's notebook called Mugen the Hand (Infinity The Hand) and made Maou the Hand (Demon King The Hand) by himself. He is voiced by Shinnosuke Tachibana.
- Jōsuke Tsunami (綱海 条介?) (Hurley Wave) (Defender) - Endou and the team first met Tsunami when he was surfing in Okinawa and saved Megane from drowning after he accidentally went overboard on the boat they were on. But while practicing with Endou's team he learns a hissatsu shot and felt a sudden devotion to soccer and immediately joined the soccer team as captain in his school Omihara Junior High. Tsunami's team played a practice match with the Inazuma Caravan team only to be interrupted by Team Epsilon. He joined the team to help with their match against Team Epsilon and stayed on the team to help them defeat Aliea Academy afterward. Hijikata is a talented defense player, his main technique is Super Shikofumi (Super Four-Legged Stamp). He and Gouenji met at Okinawa and become friends. Sakuma is still angry at Kidou for leaving Teikoku and is willing to use the dangerous forbidden Emperor Penguin shot to defeat Raimon's team, despite Kidou's protests. After a heated battle which ends in a tie, Sakuma collapses from overusing Emperor Penguin No. 1 and is taken to the hospital. However, before that, he apologizes to Kidou for taking things too far and they make peace, promising to play soccer together again sometime. After getting out of the hospital, Sakuma is invited to the FFI recruitment match and eventually goes to the islands with the rest of Raimon's team to represent Japan. He confronted Domon and Fubuki claiming to be the Fire Striker and challenged the team to a match seeing if he was the Fire Striker. After the match they were about to allow him to join the team except they were interrupted by Hiroto. Despite Haruya's annoyance he revealed his true identity to them. When he and Fūsuke (the team captain of Diamond Dust) heard about Hiroto's team promotion to be team Genesis, the two joined teams forming team Chaos, hoping to show their leader who's stronger. Later in the FFI arc he and Fūsuke were scouted by Aphrodi and the three joined the South Korea team.
